If you do not find and eliminate the root cause of your injury, you may be caught in years of managing symptoms with therapy and pain medications. True healing comes only when the root cause is addressed.
My Mission
Meet Monika
Monika is a licensed occupational therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals recover from and prevent musculoskeletal disorders, including carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, shoulder injuries, and neck and back pain.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Business from Florida International University, and she is a Certified Office Ergonomic Evaluator through Humanscale Corporation, a pioneer in ergonomic solutions. Throughout her career, Monika has also held multiple leadership positions, guiding teams to deliver exceptional care and long-lasting results.
A Personal Journey Into Ergonomics
Monika’s most valuable ergonomic training came through her own recovery from a debilitating back injury. Determined to heal without surgery, she spent a year studying back mechanics and spine loading physiology. This research gave her a deep understanding of how injuries develop and the importance of identifying the true root cause.
Today, she applies this advanced knowledge to:
- Analyze and correct harmful work postures
- Minimize strain and soft tissue injury risks
- Recommend customized micro-break activities that keep people pain-free
A Proactive Approach
Experiencing the physical and emotional toll of chronic pain reshaped Monika’s approach to healthcare. Rather than focusing only on treating injuries after they occur, she is committed to prevention—designing ergonomic solutions that protect workers before problems begin.
Monika is also an active member of an ergonomic community dedicated to research and innovation. Together, they are tackling the growing epidemic of repetitive strain injuries caused by modern office work and curating advanced ergonomic equipment that truly fits the worker.
Beyond Work
Outside of her professional life, Monika enjoys staying active outdoors, exploring exercise physiology, and promoting health and wellness through evidence-based nutrition research.
